Our mission statement
The Heritage Resident Benefit Fund provides assistance to neighbor residents who are experiencing unanticipated financial hardship, enabling them to stay in our community.
As a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, started by the residents of The Heritage of Green Hills in 2014, we count on your support. Benefits of support are:
• Donations help residents in need of financial assistance
• Tax deductions are available for qualified donations
• Recognition and exposure in the community of your donation or sponsorship
Our vision statement
The Heritage Resident Benefit Fund strives to create an environment in which all residents, present and future, can enjoy their life at The Heritage of Green Hills without concern in regard to financial difficulties.
Reasons for Resident Financial Need
There are several reasons that a resident will need financial assistance over the course of living at The Heritage. Those reasons can include:
• Resident has outlived his or her resources
• Spouse has moved to an increased level of medical care
• Death of a spouse has caused financial hardship for remaining spouse
• Unanticipated expenses from medical, life changing, or catastrophic situation

Our Community
Opening in 2009, The Heritage of Green Hills engages strong and vital seniors and is not your typical retirement community. With an independent outlook and emphasis on empowerment and camaraderie, The Heritage
exemplifies a caring, spirited, and uplifting senior living situation. Following are some compassionate thoughts shared by residents.
Ways to Support The Resident Benefit Fund
There are plenty of ways that you can support the Heritage Benefit Fund and we appreciate your generosity!
- Donation of cash, stocks or property
- Beneficiary of life insurance policy
- Distribution from qualified IRA or retirement plan
- Memorial or honorarium gifts
- Designation of remaining funds from your Heritage entrance fee
- Volunteer at special events or on committees
- Be an ambassador and spread the word on the fund
- Planned giving options, which includes: Bequests, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, donor advised fund. and charitable gift annuity

Join Our Special Events!
Individuals and companies are welcome to support the following special events as a participant, volunteer, and/or sponsor:
Heritage Golf Outing
- An annual outing which began in 2013 and is held at a local golf course
- Scramble format
- 18 holes of golf with cart, light breakfast, on-course lunch, buffet dinner and prizes
Heritage Casino Night
- An annual event held at The Heritage of Green Hills
- Fun evening of Casino games, food, drinks, and prizes
- Don't care to gamble? It's a great chance to socialize and be with friends!
