On Thursday, October 12, 2023, The Heritage of Green Hills will celebrate the 1-year anniversary of its Care Center with a party featuring a performance by the Heritage Care Center Cuties Cheerleading Squad at 2p.m. In addition, the senior living community’s on-campus Walk to End Alzheimer’s for
residents and team members will begin at 2 p.m. This smaller walk would be a great way to preview the larger Berks County Walk to End Alzheimer’s, to be held on 10/14.
The Cuties Squad was formed when a Heritage Hotties Cheerleading Squad member moved from the senior living community’s independent living neighborhood to the Care Center, but still wanted to continue performing enthusiastic pompom routines as a way to maintain physical fitness, support brain health, and have fun. The Cuties are a great example of how the Heritage’s famously young-at-heart attitude and focus on holistic wellness, personal fulfillment, and happiness serves all residents of the community, including those who need the expert support offered in the new Care Center.
Local dignitaries and community leadership will be available to the media to talk about the Care Center’s positive impact on the region in its first year, as well as the Center’s innovative design and exceptional personal care, memory care, respite care, and hospice care services.
