The Annual Blessing of the Animals took place on October 2nd at the Heritage of Green Hills in Shillington to celebrate the upcoming Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and the environment.
Photogenic dogs, cats and other animals will receive blessings from Rev. Linda Kozlowski of Good Shepherd U.C.C. as our senior community’s beloved pets gather with their pet parents of all faiths under the Portico.
This annual ceremony celebrates the pure joy that animals bring to our pet-friendly Independent Living and Care Center residents, and honors beloved pets who have passed away. Rev. Kozlowski’s mother has lived at The Heritage of Green Hills for nearly a decade.
